Any experience with "The file WinSetup.dll could not be loaded or is corrpupt. Setup cannot continue. error code is (1450)"?
Is this really a corrupt file, or some other unknown system error?

Seven reposts due to the false error report. New record? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Chris:
Is it possible for you to provide a little more context? What were you attempting when you received the error? What O/S build are you using? Etc...

You tell me, did I reply yet with my pop up blocking on \-[
Installing the Beta2 i386 32b release just released. The process was at the very beginning, just having shown the blue crystals install screen, just beginning to load installation files apparently. Nothing much had happened, and the error came up after only a few moments.

Hello Chris;
It's not your fault, there is an error when posting to the newsgroup when using a browser. Try using Outlook Express, instead.
As to your issue, please, if you would, kindly describe your system in a bit more detail. More to the point, does your computer have a SATA hard drive(s)? If so, are you loading the drivers for the SATA drive at the appropriate time? This seems to be a part of the installation process many people are missing, so it's a good place to start. If this is the issue, you can search the newsgroup for several different threads regarding the appropriate time and the process details. If this is not the issue, a detail of your system may help some of the pros here help you out.
